Every season invites us into a particular energy. Some call us to bloom, to expand, to leap. Others ask us to return inward - to simplify, listen deeply, and root ourselves more fully into who we truly are. This year, our Fall & Winter 2025 collection at Son de Flor is inspired by what we’ve come to call Rooted Courage - a quality that feels incredibly alive in so many women we know and love.
Rooted Courage is not the kind of boldness that needs an audience. It doesn’t need a microphone or applause. It’s the courage to follow your own rhythm even when it contradicts the pace of the world. It’s the strength to say “yes” to your own life, even when systems, expectations, or old patterns are telling you otherwise.
Honouring Every Path Chosen with Heart
This collection is dedicated to all women walking their path with intention - whatever that path looks like. Some are choosing to devote themselves to family, and doing so with profound grace and depth. Others are building businesses, pursuing careers in science, in art, in education, or creating something entirely their own. Many are doing both - balancing motherhood, creativity, ambition, and care - and doing it imperfectly but with so much love.
We see you and we honour you. And this season, we design with you in mind - not as an idealized version, but as the woman who is already enough, already becoming, already brave.

A Collection Inspired by Women Who Walked Before Us
With Rooted Courage as our guiding theme, we’ve named each new Fall & Winter 2025 style after women whose lives helped expand what’s possible for all of us. Not because they were perfect, but because they were real. Because they chose to walk their truth - often at great cost - and in doing so, cleared space for our own becoming.
You’ll find new styles bearing the names of Frida Kahlo, whose art was a fierce act of self-expression through pain, color, and identity; Rosa Parks, who made history by choosing stillness and dignity in the face of injustice; Jane Goodall, whose life among chimpanzees reshaped our understanding of empathy, nature, and kinship; Ona Šimaitė, the quiet librarian whose courage during World War 2 saved lives and preserved humanity; Wangari Maathai, who planted trees and hope with every act of resistance, nurturing both the earth and the spirit of her people.
There are many more. Because history, when we look closely, is full of her-stories. And each thread of this collection is a continuation of their legacy - not in words, but in fabric, in silhouettes, in spirit.
Our Seasonal Color Palette is Rooted in Earth
Because this collection is inspired by rootedness, we turned to the tones of earth, bark, berry, mist, and memory. These colors are meant to hold you gently, to warm you, to remind you of cycles deeper than the news, the trends, or the passing expectations of the world.
Our seasonal tones include: Walnut Brown – deep, grounding, and quietly powerful; Burgundy Red - the richness of inner fire and feminine vitality; Night Navy - a shade for truth-seeking and calm clarity; Moon Garden - a print full of mysterious, persistent beauty; Forget me Not - a soft print that carries memory, tenderness, and continuity; Fogwood Tartan - reminiscent of forest mornings, misty fields, and the wisdom of slowness.
Each of these colors invites you to wrap yourself in comfort without compromising presence. Our intention was to create pieces that feel both timeless and alive - items you’ll return to again and again, not just because they are beautiful, but because they feel like home.
